Mālamalama Maui Project

The Story Connective is a team of creative artists committed to telling stories of resilience, possibilities and cooperation in the form of podcasts and short-form videos.  Co-founder Rebecca Rhapsody grew up in Upcountry Maui and returned to her hometown with story curator Loxely Clovis at the end of 2016 to create the Re-envision Maui podcast series (available on Podbean, Stitcher, iTunes & Google Play).  Story Connective has interviewed local farmer James Simpliciano ("Chef Turns Regenerative Farmer") and permaculture expert Jenny Pell ("What Can We Grow Now?" & "What Jobs Can We Create Now?") in an effort to highlight local solutionaries and the possibilities on Maui.  To learn more about the history of agriculture in Hawaii and how it has lead to the agricultural transition today, download their podcast "Before and After Sugar."
